InetAsia Selects vioCLICKS to Provide Real-Time
Traffic Analysis Services
Los Angeles, Calif
(March 4, 2002) vioCLICKS, Inc., a leading
web traffic analysis solution provider, announced
today that it has been chosen by InetAsia to provide
real-time traffic analysis for both InetAsia and its
commercial clients. InetAsia is an independent development
company which develops web-based applications, information
technologies and software solutions for e-commerce
and digital platforms. InetAsia also provides hosting
services for Asian-based Internet companies.
"vioCLICKS is easy to implement and even easier
for our clients to read," said Ric Shreves, creative
director of InetAsia. "The systems usability
is very high and the response from our clients has
been great."
InetAsia plans to release its proprietary, web-based
site building software, 247 Sitebuilder, with the
vioCLICKS web traffic analysis system pre-installed.
The combination of the two technologies will enable
virtually anyone, with a minimal amount of computer
experience, to build commercial websites online and
monitor their site traffic without relying on log
files for detailed traffic analysis.
"[With vioCLICKS] the customization of reports
is a breeze and when you combine that with the automatic
archiving of data, it beats Webtrends every time,"
added Shreves.

vioCLICKS Conquers Microsofts IE
6.0 Browser!
Los Angeles, Calif.
(February 18, 2002) - vioCLICKS, Inc., a leading web
traffic analysis solution provider, today announced
that it has developed a proprietary technology which
enables its version 2.0 web traffic analysis tool
to accurately track website visitors who surf the
Internet using Microsofts popular IE 6.0 browser
with their cookies disabled.
"Its a real break-through," said Robert
Kiminecz, CTO of vioCLICKS, Inc. "With the release
of IE 6.0, Microsoft gave the web surfer several browser
security options. Many of which either partially or
completely block a websites ability to place
a cookie onto that browser. From our own site traffic
data, we noticed that nearly 45% of surfers had switched
to IE 6.0 and as virtually all web-based traffic analysis
tools rely on cookies to analyze visitor traffic (including
ours) we realized that we had to come up with a solution."
As Internet personal privacy and security have become
prevalent issues of late, more and more Internet users,
with the help of Microsoft, are surfing the web with
their cookies disabled.
"We were immediately aware of how the release
of IE 6.0 would impact our ability to accurately track
website visitors," said Kminecz. "When a
surfer with his cookies disabled visits a website,
todays web-based traffic analyzers count every
page view on a website by that surfer as a unique
visitor. And as IE 6.0 is the apparent browser of
choice for over 40% of the surfers on the Internet,
you can imagine the kind of havoc that this wreaks
on a web traffic analysis tool that is solely reliant
on cookies to obtain visitor data."
Furthermore, in some parts of the world, such as the
EU where the legality of websites placing cookies
on visitors browsers is even now being debated
in court at Brussels, local legislation may make it
illegal for websites in many countries to place cookies
on a surfers browser without the expressed consent
of the surfer.
"We realized that we needed to adapt our technology
to cope with todays privacy-minded surfer as
well as any potential localized ban on cookies in
the future," continued Kiminecz. "So we
came up with an algorithm which can be used to determine
the security settings of a browser. If the browsers
cookies are disabled, it assigns a unique identifier
to that browser which enables us to track that browser
as an individual surfer and monitor that surfers
actions throughout the site without counting every
page view as a unique hit. If that visitor exits the
site and returns within a 24 hour period we can even
determine that that visitor is a return visitor rather
than count him again as a unique visitor."
"Our greatest asset is our ability to adapt to
the constant changes in technology and the marketplace,"
added Guido Ganschow, president of vioCLICKS. "And
whether you like it or not, Microsoft has a tremendous
impact on what happens with the Internet today. Fortunately,
our developers like a good challenge and were
ready for anything else that Mr. Gates may throw our
way."

vioCLICKS Completes Beta Testing for its Next-Generation
Web Analytics Utility
Los Angeles, Calif. (January
21, 2002) vioCLICKS, Inc., a leading web traffic
analysis solution provider, announced today that it
has successfully completed its second round of beta
testing for its next-generation web audience measurement
system and is releasing vioCLICKS version 2.0 in early
February. The soon-to-be released version introduces
a host of new features including streaming, real-time
site statistics, a fully customized user interface and
multiple account management capability.
"In todays Internet marketplace, understanding
visitor behavior on your website has never been more
critical," said Guido Ganschow, president of vioCLICKS.
"Log file reporting is no longer reliable for accurate
web audience measurement nor, due to the excessive
amount of data storage and management inherent with
log file data and analysis, is this first generation
of web analytics even viable. The future or the next-generation
of accurate web traffic analysis is web-based browser
tracking which, unlike server-based data collection,
ignores non human events such as spiders, bots and crawlers
that may visit your website. vioCLICKS proprietary
technology records only human visitor behavior to your
website collected directly from a visitors browser."
In addition to providing highly accurate statistics
reporting, the developers of vioCLICKS version 2.0 have
gone to great lengths to make access to web traffic
analysis more accessible to non-technical personnel.
"vioCLICKS number one goal, from the very
beginning, has been to create the most accurate web
traffic analysis tool available while, at the same time,
making it as user-friendly as possible," said Dan
Hodgdon, marketing director of vioCLICKS. "Corporate
executives dont want to have to email or phone
their site administrator or ISP in order to see how
their latest marketing campaign is affecting their site
traffic. Management should be able to login from any
computer connected to the Internet and with a few mouse
clicks, have instant access to all of their visitor
data in a format that is easy to read and, although
fully comprehensive, easy to understand. vioCLICKS virtually
eliminates managements reliance on the techies
to retrieve this kind of information."
Mr. Ganschow added, "We really put a lot of thought
into the user experience. Thats why weve
created truly unique and easy to use tools such as our
Real-Time Traffic Streamer, customized online and email
reports which display the statistics that are most important
to the individual user as well as multiple site monitoring
capability from a single login. Because, in the end,
using the most advanced technology available to collect
your traffic data is pointless unless those who need
it can access it or make sense of that data."
vioCLICKS will release three different versions of its
web traffic analysis tool which will include:
vioLITE Priced at $7.95 per month, vioLITE provides
a statistics reporting depth of 1-20 and maintains client
visitor data for three months.
vioPREMIUM Priced at $19.95 per month, vioPREMIUM
is targeted toward small to medium sized clients with
a statistics reporting depth of 1-50, maintains client
visitor data for one year and includes the Real-Time
Traffic Streamer.
vioPROFESSIONAL Priced at $99.95 per month vioPROFESSIONAL
is targeted toward larger corporate clients with a statistics
reporting depth of 1-100, maintains client visitor data
for the life of the account and includes the Real-Time
Traffic Streamer and multiple site management capability.
